We know exactly what you're going through - OK, so you think you want to be married in Slovenia... but where? And how do you know it's going to be the right place on the day?

For a few days in 2001, we toured the country, in the hope of finding the 'right' place. I think we saw about a squillion castles... then we thought maybe a vineyard... possibly a tourist farm.

Eventually, we did find the right place for us. And by now, during the few years we've been in business, we've probably found the right place for you, too.

Dream Wedding Venues

Kendov Dvorec This beautiful old manor house has been lovingly restored to its former glory: everything here exudes a relaxed elegance. Your wedding ceremony can be in the flowery garden, or held in the lovely dining room.	Pristava Lepena You'll find yourself just leaning back and taking in the magnificence of it all. The owners, Milan and Silvia, are the perfect hosts and know how to make you feel special.
Nebesa/Hiša Franko Nebesa is certainly well-named: it's the Slovenian for 'heaven'. Hiša Franko is about ten minutes away, just outside the town of Kobarid. The owner and chef, Ana Roš, is destined to become one of Europe's greats.	Lake Bohinj Your wedding ceremony can be held on a lake cruiser, the shores of the lake, or in the grounds of the Vila Park hotel. Bohinj is on the edge of the Triglav National Park, and the scenery is fabulous.
Posestvo Pule Comprising seven luxury chalets, nuzzled into the side of a hill encircled by the forests of Dolenjska, the Pule Estate is one of the most charming, elegant hotels in Europe. A truly fantastical place for your nuptials.	Otočec A real fairy-tale castle on an island in the middle of the Krka river, Otočec personifies the very best in fantasy weddings. You will be regally entertained in this lovely reminder of a more romantic time.

Ljubljana One of our finest capital cities, thankfully Ljubljana brushed off the epithet 'The New Prague' - and all of the beer-soaked noise that implies - and continued to take the transition from Old to New Europe in its easy stride. Classy promenades, a mesmerising mix of architectural styles, boutiques, yummy restaurants and wine bars all make this an excellent wedding location.
The Sun House This super-modern hotel somehow contrives to make cutting edge design feel soft and fluffy. There are only five suites here, so the Sun House is perfect for that bijoux wedding when you only want to invite a very select few. It is situated in the north east region of Prlekija, and just a short stagger from some of the country's best wine makers.
Please note that sadly we no longer recommend Lake Bled as an ideal wedding location. In recent years it has become something of a production line: wedding at the castle, horse and carriage down to the lake, ride on a pletna boat, brief service in the chapel on the island, ring the church bell... every Saturday you can literally see a queue of people, lining up for their 'idyllic wedding'. We are currently working with the excellent Vila Bled on possible alternatives to the current production line, and we can keep you informed of how things are going - just fill in the enquiry form.
